The students from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, study enginneering. They are taking "English I for beginners", which is a course for developing oral communication. Many of the assignments the students have to post in this project have been part of the speaking activity in f2f classes. Most of the students come from different cities along Chile, South America. Our English classes will contribute two chapters to this wiki book called In Our World: Portraits of Communities from Around the Globe. Our class will focus on Chilean communities to describe the cities where they come from, since they have experienced the difference between living at home and living away from home. |  |
