--Dward018 13:45, 26 October 2009 (UTC)During the week I take 12 credit hours and I work over 30 hours a week.  I chose to ODU because I could live at home, and save a considerable amount of money.  Also, I can still work and have found it easier to concentrate on school.  There are some issues with commuting, which will be discussed in further detail.

--Cmill082 13:39, 26 October 2009 (UTC) My proposal is to write about ODU and why a chose to attend ODU. I grew up in Virginia Beach, so ODU is just right around the corner form home. I chose to attend a local university instead of attending a univeristiy away from home for a few reasons.

--Chelone24 14:23, 19 October 2009 (UTC)There are alot of things to be taken into consideration when decided to live off-campus. Traveling back and forth to school can very difficult, at times, simply due to transportation and time. If you are not a very organized person before choosing to become a commuter, that may soon change.

--Halej001 20:21, 20 October 2009 (UTC):  For my proposal, I want to let people know even though I live off campus, I can still have the "college experience" just like everyone else who lives on campus.  I don't need to live in a dorm to have fun. (approved for "College Experience")

--Nmoor014 15:41, 26 October 2009 (UTC)For my proposal, I will talk about how living off campus enables me to live a more flexible life.  I am away from the parties and noisy roomates so I am able to study and focus more on my school work.

--Konea002 10:29, 27 October 2009 (UTC) For my proposal, I want to talk about what life is like to be a freshman and joining a sorority, working 30 hours a week, being a full time student and to also keep a personal life with friends.

--HLSJDC 12:58, 27 October 2009 (UTC) For my proposal, I will write about my personal pros and cons of commuting. As a commuter from near the North Carolina line, I have to get up much earlier than many people to get to class on time. It takes me an hour to get from my house to school and more than a quarter of a tank of gas for every round trip. I like to commute because I am able to practice my violin in my own studio and continue to teach violin lessons.

--Athom111 22:30, 27 October 2009 (UTC) For my proposal, I will discuss the challenges I face being a 25 year old full time, music major, college student and part time banker while living at home and commuting an hour to work and school everyday.

--Lande036 04:28, 28 October 2009 (UTC) For my proposal, I will write about the troubles and worries of being a freshman commuter with a job working 20+ hours a week.

--Kpark032 13:35, 28 October 2009 (UTC) For my proposal, I will talk about the resources and helps that are available on campus for any business major student to success at ODU. There are many resources available to business majoring student; however, many students don't know anything about those valuable resources. As a sophomore majoring in accounting, I will discuss from the admission process for CBPA to valuable resources that are available to students.

--Kgarr015 15:01, 28 October 2009 (UTC): I decided to live off campus to become more independant. I live in an apartment and I have more responsibilities and have to rely more on myself than others.

--Nlamx003 15:12, 28 October 2009 (UTC) For my proposal, I will talk about how living off campus enables me to remain close with my friends and keep my job. I get to see my good friends all the time and continue working at my job I've had for two and a half years.

--Vjone020 21:48, 28 October 2009 (UTC); For my proposal, I will talk about how important safety is while living off campus especially for girls living in a house by themselves or even with roommates.

--Alove007 20:03, 28 October 2009 (UTC): For my proposal, I will talk about living off campus as a freshman and how I have to be more independent and responsible.

--Jchap031 02:37, 19 November 2009 (UTC)My proposal is to write about odu campus life and taking advantage of your enviornment. Like joining christian group Intervarsity Christain Fellowship
