The Grass and Turf Fields: I like the grass fields, because they are really fun. There are some disadvanteges about them though, like when it rains most of the fields get flooded and really gross so you cant do much. But if your a little kid maybe you could go and jump in the mud puddles, so it is great for almost everything. They are starting to make the fields turf though which means there is not going to be mud, but that is good for the people who play sports, because now they don't have to play in the mud. I like the new turf field though, because I like to have pickincs on the fields, and you can have a good time with your family and friends without getting covered in grass. Most feilds have running tracks now so if you love to run you can run a mile or more whenever you want! You can play sports, like soccer, lacrosse, and football. Other sports can be played there too, those are just a few. There are many ways you can spend your time in Needham and have a lot of fun! I recommend the grass fields...
More about grass and turf fields and sports: I am writting about this because I know alot about the fields like if there good to be played on and how well they can withstand the rain. people in neeedham are voting to tear up some fields and put turf in. This is so when its raining out and you are going to play a sport on a feild you wont have to forefit the game. When football, soccer, feild hockey, and lacrose play on the grass feilds and it had just rained there cleats and feild hockeys sticks as well are on the feild, the feilds will get torn up. Thats why we have some turf feilds and grass feilds. The bad part about having turf feilds is when its 80° in the summer its going to be about 10° hotter on the turf.
